Description

Seller's View

After 12 very happy years in this lovely home, the time has come for us to move on, and it really is a bittersweet decision. We have been in Yateley since 1988, which probably says everything about how much we love the area. It has been a wonderful place to raise our family and create so many special memories.

Lodge Grove has been the perfect setting. Our quiet cul de sac is peaceful and friendly, with fantastic neighbours who really do look out for one another. It has always felt safe, welcoming and community focused.

Yateley itself is a fabulous town with everything you need right on your doorstep. There are great local shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs, plus brilliant schools that make it such a popular choice for families. The balance of convenience and community spirit is something we have always appreciated.

We truly hope the next family loves this home as much as we have and enjoys many happy years here, just as we did.

Jack's Comments

When I first visited Lodge Grove, what immediately stood out was the feeling of space and flexibility. Four genuine double bedroom options is a rarity in this price bracket, and the layout works brilliantly for modern family life. Whether you need four bedrooms, a guest suite, or additional workspace, this home adapts around you.

The ground floor flows beautifully. The modern open plan kitchen diner opens directly onto the garden, creating that seamless inside outside feel that so many buyers are looking for. It connects naturally with both the spacious living room and the dining room, meaning you have separation when you want it, yet openness when entertaining. The addition of a downstairs shower room alongside the upstairs family bathroom adds real practicality for busy households.

Outside is just as impressive. The driveway comfortably accommodates three cars, and the almost triple length garage is a huge bonus, offering storage, workshop space or future potential. The garden is mature, green and wonderfully private, with plenty of sun traps throughout the day. It is the kind of space that works just as well for summer gatherings as it does for quiet mornings with a coffee.

What I love most about this home, though, is the atmosphere. It feels warm, homely and exceptionally well looked after. Combined with its quiet cul de sac setting and unbeatable Yateley location, it is easy to see why the current owners have stayed so long.

For anyone searching for a long term family home in a prime spot, Lodge Grove really is hard to beat.

Area View – Yateley

Lodge Grove sits within one of Yateley’s most established and sought after residential pockets, known for its peaceful cul de sac setting and strong community feel. It is the kind of road where neighbours know each other and families settle long term.

Yateley itself continues to be one of the most desirable towns in North East Hampshire. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, including Yateley Common and nearby woodland walks, it offers that balance of green open space and everyday convenience that is hard to find.

Within easy reach you have:
• Excellent local schools including Cranford Park Primary, Newlands Primary and Yateley School
• A range of independent shops, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants in Yateley centre
• Popular pubs and family friendly eateries
• Leisure facilities, sports clubs and well regarded health services

For commuters, the property is well positioned for access to the M3 and A30, with nearby train stations at Blackwater, Sandhurst and Fleet providing links into Reading and London.

What makes this particular spot special is the blend of quiet residential living with everything you need just minutes away. It is easy to see why families move here and stay for decades.
