The house lies close to North Street, a hub for local independents, restaurants, and shops, including Michelin recommended COR and OTHER, coffee shops Sweven and Burra, and The Tobacco Factory - a café, bar, and theatre that hosts a bustling Sunday market.

Several parks surround West View Road, with South Street Park just around the corner and the larger Greville Smyth Park a 15 minute walk away. Just beyond Greville Smyth (a further 20 minutes) is the sprawling Ashton Court Estate - home to the annual Bristol Balloon Fiesta and 850 acres of wood and grassland.
