"We’ve absolutely loved living here at Pinkers Mead for the last five years, we will miss both the house and the area. It’s been perfect for our first home but we are now ready to upsize. The area is great for walks as it’s very near the cycle path, the park and in walking distance of the Pomphrey Hill parkrun too! We are also in walking distance of Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Boots, The Avenue Cafe, The Mill House Pub and Mangotsfield Primary School."

Pinkers Mead is popular with residents for its quiet, community feel and fantastic local high street amenities on Downend's High street such as the Beehive Café as well as accessibility to the rapidly improving Fishponds and Staple Hill High Streets. More locally is the Emersons Green retail park, and The Avenue Cafe. The area hugely benefits from several fantastic green spaces, like Page Park, Frenchay Common, King George, Leap Valley, Bromley Heath park, Oldbury Court Estate and Stoke Park, all within easy access. For commuters, the area is also very well placed, just a short journey from the City Centre with several bus and cycle routes available, including the Bristol to Bath path. The area is also popular with families for having several well-regarded schools in the vicinity such as Christ Church Infants and Mangotsfield Primary School along with Downend and Mangotsfield secondary schools all just a short walk away.
