Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The development is located in a great and vibrant local area, with a mixture of markets, restaurants and supermarkets for day-to-day living as well as when wanting to go out and enjoy with friends and family. Transport links are good, with multiple options for getting around London only a short walk away. Other local amenities such as gyms and the local park that's actively used by different ages and groups of people are great elements that have a positive impact on the wellbeing of the space.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building management has been good, friendly and very responsive–with any issues or concerns being addressed or responded to promptly with care and attention. We had an issue with insects coming through our vent, which was sorted on the same day. Early on we also had a loose fitting in the bathroom which was again sorted on the same day by a handyman they brought in.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The park is a lovely space to have close by, especially in the summer and it's great to see it used for a variety of activities (relaxing, sports, bbq) throughout the year

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

I don’t really have anything bad to say. Experience to date has been first class. Any issues with the facilities are addressed immediately and communicated clearly. Commute wise there are multiple options to get to different areas of London quickly. Deptford Park is directly opposite and it’s dog friendly.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management team are very responsive and I was even able to arrange wall hooks to be professionally fitted as well, which made my move that much easier.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There isn’t really anything to add here.. i was given a thorough walk through when I enquired and everything was clearly explained to me.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Living at Neptune Wharf is really convenient. Silva’s is only about a 5-minute walk away and it’s a wonderful local restaurant that people in the area love. There are also some great local shops nearby, and the community feel is strong — especially around the local dog park where lots of neighbours meet and chat. Bikes are available around the area during the warmer seasons which makes getting around easy. Transport links are good, and overall the area feels well connected. The street itself is fairly quiet with low traffic noise, and it’s generally a peaceful place to live. Bin collections are regular and the neighbourhood feels friendly and well looked after.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Extremely speedy and attentive - All issues addressed and solved the same day where possible.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing you quickly notice after living here is how friendly the community is, which isn’t always obvious from a viewing. People are generally respectful and the area feels calm and welcoming. The nearby dog park is a lovely place where neighbours often chat and get to know each other, which adds to the sense of community. The location is also very convenient, with great local spots like Silva’s only a short walk away and good transport links nearby. It’s a really pleasant place to live and a great area to settle into.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Great for dog walking, getting to local transit stations is a long walk. Overall, not bad but you’d have to be prepared to walk in the rain and be wet to get to work.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Quickly and with high levels of effectivity. Overall id score them 9/10

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

communal living costs, levels of energy consumption.

    Manager's response

Thank you Evan for your 5* review; it's great to read your positive feedback on the development and on-site management team. Wishing you continued enjoyment in your home at Neptune Wharf.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area has a good mix of local shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, ranging from independent spots to well-known chains. Day-to-day essentials like supermarkets, pharmacies and takeaways are easy to access, and there are usually several options for eating out or grabbing coffee nearby. There are also a few pleasant green spaces and small parks within a short walk, which are useful for exercise, relaxing, or walking pets. Transport links are generally very convenient. There are regular bus services nearby and a local rail or Underground station within reasonable walking distance, making it straightforward to travel into central London or other parts of the city. At peak commuting times the trains and buses can get busy, and road traffic can be slow during rush hour, but overall connectivity is a major advantage of the area. Living on the street itself is typically fairly quiet for an urban neighbourhood. Parking can sometimes be limited, particularly in the evenings, and many streets operate permit parking for residents. Bin collections usually run weekly and are reliable as long as bins are put out at the correct time. Like most London areas there may occasionally be some street noise or minor anti-social behaviour late at night near busier roads or pubs, but it is generally manageable. Traffic noise varies depending on proximity to main roads, while residential side streets tend to be much calmer.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally been responsive and helpful when issues are raised. Communication is clear and they usually acknowledge problems quickly. Most maintenance requests are dealt with within a reasonable timeframe, and updates are provided when needed. Overall, they appear organised and willing to resolve concerns raised by residents.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the location can feel slightly awkward at first. It is a bit tucked away, so routes to nearby areas are not always the most direct. It takes a little time to get used to navigating the surrounding streets.

    Manager's response

Yasmin, thank you so much for your in-depth review and feedback of Neptune Wharf. It's great to read your comments on the development, finishes to the communal areas and the accessibility to the local area and transport links. Regarding parking, we do offer parking spaces to rent in our secure carpark, so if this is of interest, do speak with the front desk team who will be happy to organise that for you. Wishing you continued happiness in your Neptune Wharf home!
