4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The building is located in a really convenient location with the Tram stop just up the road. Buses connecting to city centre are all a short 5-10 min walk and the grand central is a 25 min walk. There’s a big tesco 10 mins away and a few food joints, cafes and tesco express all in a radius of 5-10 mins walk
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They are very prompt and helpful. Eleni the wonderful lady manning the reception is super friendly and always on top of the issues you bring to her.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The electricity bill in winters because of the electric heating can really skew the monthly budget

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
I love how close I am to local shops and amenities in the Jewellery Quarter. The venue is walking distance from Tesco and multiple cafes etc.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Instantly responded to my issues with my apartment within a day. Very efficient and happy to help.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Just how easy it is to get around. I would not have worried so much about staying separately from the main Great Western Building.

Good: parcel room, gym, maintance team and the tram station is right next door. I experience no traffic noise thankfully

I always have rapid responses when it comes to maintenance
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Nothing really to be fair I’m quite happy with my move
Manager's response5Dear Rina, Thank you so much for sharing such a glowing review — for such a warm and thoughtful review — it truly means a great deal to the whole team at Goodsyard. It’s wonderful to hear how much you’re enjoying the modern design, the lounge spaces, and the sense of community at Goodsyard. Your appreciation for the parcel room, gym, and our maintenance team’s rapid responses means a lot to everyone here. Knowing the location works perfectly for you and that you’re enjoying the peace and quiet is equally great to hear. Your kind words about the team being welcoming really stand out. Creating that warm, friendly atmosphere is something we care deeply about, so it’s lovely to see it reflected in your experience. Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The location is great, lots of shops and bars in the area. The development promised private access to the train station but 2 years later and still no access. Only 1 shop has moved into the commercial spaces after 2 years of promises
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The maintenance team have been the best part about the management.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the advertised promises would not be fulfilled
Manager's response2Dear Musson, Thank you for your feedback. My name is Kishor Tahiliani, and having recently joined the team, I truly appreciate feedback like yours ,it helps me understand where we need to focus our efforts to improve the experience for our residents. I am glad the maintenance team and the apartment design have been positives, but I am sorry for the issues you’ve experienced with temperature, wear and tear, and delays to promised amenities. Your comments about staff approachability are important, and I’ll be working closely with the team to ensure residents feel welcomed and supported. I’m also reviewing communication around station access and commercial units so expectations are clearer moving forward. Thank you again for your honesty ,it genuinely helps guide the improvements I’m here to make. I do welcome the chance to speak with you directly so we can better support you. Kind Regards Kishor Tahiliani General Manager

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Metro nearby however the access from building to station is not open yet. Pretty quiet area as we are overlooking the cemetry. We park under the building for £150 per month which is very expensive compared to other buildings.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very average, they dont seem to understand that tenants actually pay a significant rent to live here and discount any of the concerns we have.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
That the managing agents are very poor, that the link to the station would not be open for 18 months after we were told it would, and that we would have weeks and weeks of noise coming from the renovation of the commercial units
Manager's response2Dear DD, Thank you for sharing your experience. Having recently joined Goodsyard, I want you to know your feedback is important to us. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused by the snagging issues, appliance replacements, noise from commercial works, and the delays to station access. I understand how disruptive this has been. The commercial units currently being fitted out will form an important part of creating a more vibrant and convenient environment for residents, and I appreciate your patience while this work is completed. My focus now is on strengthening communication, improving consistency, and ensuring residents feel supported. Your comments help guide where we need to make progress, and I am committed to rebuilding trust and delivering a better experience moving forward. Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts. I will be happy to speak with you directly so I can better understand how we can support you. Kind regards, Kishor Tahiliani
