Description

Dear new owner,

This was my very first flat and I’ve loved living here. Being so close to the heart of Gourock has been great, with everything right on your doorstep, but one of my favourite things has always been sitting at the window and enjoying the view. It’s such a nice spot to slow down and watch the world go by.

The lounge was one of the things that made me fall for the flat when I first saw it. It’s big, bright and really spacious, so there’s plenty of room to relax, have friends over, or just enjoy a cosy night in.

This home has given me so many happy memories and I hope the next owners love it just as much and create plenty of their own along the way.

The current owner

Perfectly positioned on John Street in the heart of Gourock, this beautifully presented second floor apartment blends traditional character with a vibrant and welcoming interior, creating a home that feels both elegant and full of personality.

From the moment you step inside, the sense of space is immediately apparent. The welcoming hallway leads you through the home where each room unfolds naturally, creating a comfortable and practical layout for everyday living.

The lounge is a truly impressive room. High ceilings and the large bay window allow natural light to flood the space throughout the day, while the elevated outlook offers a lovely view across the surrounding area. It is easy to imagine slow mornings here with a coffee by the window, watching the world begin to move outside, or relaxed evenings curled up on the sofa as the light softens.

The kitchen is both bright and practical, offering generous worktop space and room to enjoy casual dining. It is the sort of space where breakfast before work or relaxed weekend cooking feels easy and enjoyable.

The bedroom is beautifully styled and wonderfully spacious, offering a calm retreat at the end of the day. The room easily accommodates a large bed and additional furniture while still maintaining a sense of openness and comfort.

Completing the accommodation is a well presented bathroom along with excellent storage throughout the hallway.

Throughout the apartment, the care and creativity that has gone into styling the home is clear to see. Colour, texture and thoughtful finishing touches give each room warmth and character while maintaining a bright and welcoming feel.

Adding to its appeal is the location itself. John Street sits within easy reach of Gourock’s waterfront, local cafés, shops and transport links. Morning walks along the promenade, quick trips for coffee or an easy commute all become part of everyday life here.

This is a home that combines charm, space and location beautifully, creating a place that feels both stylish and wonderfully comfortable.
