Three-Bedroom Link-Detached Home | South-West Facing Garden | Overlooking the Green | Private Parking

A position people wait for — overlooking the green, with sun, privacy and a ready-to-move-into finish.

Set within the ever-popular Mill Green development in Strines, this well-presented three-bedroom link-detached home offers bright, flexible living space, a south-west facing garden, and the simplicity of a chain-free move.

The Layout – Simple, Practical, Works - Step inside and everything feels easy.

The kitchen sits to the front, overlooking the communal green — compact, fully fitted and practical, with integrated appliances including fridge freezer, oven, gas hob, extractor and washing machine.

A ground floor WC adds everyday convenience (always high on buyers’ wish lists).

To the rear, the home opens up into a generous lounge / dining space, with useful understairs storage and a layout that adapts to how you live.

French doors lead into the sunroom/conservatory — a standout addition that brings in excellent natural light and creates a second reception space.

Think:

Morning coffee spot
Playroom
Work-from-home zone
Or an additional sitting/dining area

Upstairs – Three Bedrooms, No Compromise

Main bedroom: Spacious double with fitted sliding wardrobes and en-suite shower room
Second bedroom: Another comfortable double with mirrored fitted storage
Third bedroom: Ideal as a nursery, office or single bedroom — also with built-in storage
A well-appointed family bathroom with vanity unit, storage and bath with overhead shower.

Outside – Low Maintenance, High Enjoyment

The south-west facing garden is compact but offers a patio seating area for sun throughout the afternoon and evening, artificial lawn for year-round ease - ideal for pets and side access leading to your private parking to the rear

The Setting – Why Mill Green Works

Mill Green isn’t just a development — it’s a lifestyle.

Residents benefit from access to:

Tennis courts & pavilion
Children’s play area
Open green spaces and walking routes
Direct access to countryside, with the River Goyt nearby

There’s a genuine sense of community here — something buyers actively look for but rarely find.

Homes in this position — overlooking the green and with a sunny aspect — don’t come up often.

With no onward chain, this is a straightforward, easy move for buyers looking to secure a home in one of Strines’ most desirable settings.

Living in Strines:

Strines is a small village nestled between the larger towns of Marple and New Mills.  Strines has a railway station located approximately 650m from the property or you can head to Marple Railway station in just a few minutes by car - both have regular services into Manchester Piccadilly or out to Sheffield - so it’s close enough to the city and transport links for commuters but well located for the Peak District with endless rolling countryside right on the doorstep. Buses run regularly into Stockport and out to Hayfield.

Stockport centre is approximately 7 miles (11km) by car and the A555 link road (or ‘the new road’ as us locals will forever call it) provides convenient access to Manchester Airport, south Manchester and the motorway network.

The catchment primary school is All Saints in Marple or St Mary’s Catholic and for those with older children, your choice of secondary schools include Marple Hall School or Harrytown Catholic High School.

There is an abundance of green space in and around Strines and you will never tire of the many walks on offer – whether you enjoy a hike through the hills or a gentle stroll along the canal.

eXp UK are the newest estate agency business, powering individual agents around the UK to provide a personal service and experience to help get you moved.

Here are the top 7 things you need to know when moving home:

The estate agent acts for the seller and is there to get the seller the best price possible

Understand the length of time it can take - 14 weeks from when you accept an offer, or have an offer accepted to move in! A long time!

It can get stressful, but speak to your agent and your solicitor and they will put you in the picture

Be nice to estate agents - we're pretty nice people, offer some great advice and will help to get you moved ;-)
