Introduction, Exterior & Garage

Located in the Fradley Village, near to St Stephens church, this sensational detached home is part of a highly desirable development that is around 30 years old. The property comprises of a larger-style three bedroom detached house with a detached double garage to the front and a generous garden to the rear.

In front of the house is a block paved driveway to park three cars comfortably. The garage has a wide electric door to access and can comfortably hold two cars. The current owner has utilised this space as a gymnasium and there is a pull down hatch with folding ladder toward the centre-rear of the garage that accesses a full-boarded and carpeted loft space, perfect for extra storage. The garage loft also has natural light provided by a Velux window to the front of the roof.

Beside the garage is a passage that leads down the left side of the house, past the kitchen side door, and through to the rear garden. The garden begins and ends with areas of decking that offer plenty of options for outdoor furniture. Between these is an area of plush lawn with a gravel and stepping stone patch down the left side. The whole garden is surrounded by tall wooden fencing to maintain privacy.

Ground Floor

Guests enter the home into a welcoming hallway that has plenty of space to remove coats and shoes, and these can be stored in the guest WC to the right. The guest WC includes a toilet, wash basin and coat hooks. From the hallway there are doors leading off to the kitchen and lounge, with the carpeted staircase leading up to the first floor immediately ahead. The entire original part of the ground floor is covered with high-quality wood-effect LVT flooring, which viewers will find particularly eye-catching.

The lounge is an attractive reception room that is tastefully decorated and features a stunning electric fireplace with surround fitted into the chimney breast. An elevated bay window provides natural light from the front and a set of sliding doors (with window to the side) open to the conservatory. The conservatory is an excellent size and features glorious real wood flooring. There is a polycarbonate pitched ceiling with fan, and a set of French doors opening to the garden decking.

Arguably the best room in the house is a remarkable kitchen that has been opened through with the dining room to create a vast and impressive space to dine and entertain guests. The suite is fitted around the rear of the room and includes a range of wall and base mounted hi-gloss white units with laminated wood effect surfaces. Integrated within the suite is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a one-and-a-half-bowl ceramic sink with drainer. There are clear spaces for a range oven and American-style fridge freezer. The suite protrudes to the front to provide a breakfast bar area, ideal for inviting a friend round for coffee. The front of the room has a large open space for a dining table to be positioned and, as shown on the photo, the six-seater table currently in place has leaves lots of space to spare.

First Floor

Guests arrive at the first floor landing where there is plenty of wall space to hang artwork and family photography if desired. Doors from the landing open to all three bedrooms and the family bathroom, as well as a store cupboard. A hatch above provides an entry to the insulated loft space.

The master bedroom is positioned at the front-left of the house and is a fabulous double bedroom with built-in slide door wardrobes and access to an en suite shower room. As well as the shower, the en suite includes a cabinet with wash basin atop, chrome heated towel radiator, and a toilet.

Bedrooms two and three are positioned at the right side of the stairwell and are double and single rooms respectively. Bedroom two has two windows looking out to the frontage and has access to a cupboard making good use of the void above the stairwell. Bedroom three is a good-sized single bedroom that could be utilised as a home office, which will be of interest to those with smaller families that work from home.

The final room in the house is the fabulous family bathroom. The suite comprises of a classic standalone bathtub with claw feet and matching traditional wash basin and toilet.
