Description

A superbly presented home offering flexible living space, a fantastic garage conversion and an exceptionally convenient location for families. With a stylish kitchen dining area, generous bedrooms and three toilets throughout the property, this is a home designed for modern family life. Situated within a quiet residential pocket of Coltness and surrounded by a selection of excellent schools, it is a location that is incredibly hard to beat.

Five things our current owners love about their home:

1. The schools being so close has been brilliant. One of the biggest factors for us has been the number of nearby schools. There are five within easy reach of the house two primary schools, two secondary schools and a specialist SEN school. St Aidan`s High is only a few minutes away on foot, and the others are all close enough that the school run never felt like a logistical exercise. If you have kids, the convenience of that is hard to overstate.

2. It`s a really quiet street.Templegill Crescent feels tucked away from the busier roads. Even though Coltness is one of the bigger parts of Wishaw, this little pocket is calm and residential. It`s always felt like a nice place to come home to at the end of the day.

3. Everything is close without feeling busy, Wishaw town centre is an easy walk, which has always been handy. The town centre has everything from large supermarkets and cosy cafes to a selection of bars and independent shops.

4. The space inside the house works really well. The master bedroom is a great size and has always felt like a proper retreat rather than just somewhere to sleep. Having three toilets in the house has also been far more useful than we expected, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get out the door at once.

5. The extra room from the garage conversion. Converting the garage into a proper double bedroom made a big difference to how we used the house. It`s a generous room, flexible enough to use as a bedroom, an office, or a bit of both.

The lounge is a comfortable and well proportioned room with plenty of space for a full seating arrangement, creating a relaxing space to unwind at the end of the day. Large windows allow natural light to fill the room while the layout offers excellent wall space for furniture and media.

To the rear, the kitchen dining area is designed with everyday living in mind. Modern cabinetry provides great storage while the worktops offer plenty of preparation space. There is ample room for a dining table, making it the perfect setting for family meals, homework time or entertaining friends.

One of the most valuable upgrades in this home is the garage conversion which has created a generous additional room on the ground floor. This flexible space works brilliantly as a bedroom, home office or guest room and gives the property far greater versatility than a standard layout.

Upstairs, the principal bedroom is a standout. The proportions make it feel like a genuine retreat, with space for wardrobes and additional furniture without feeling crowded. The remaining bedrooms are well sized and filled with natural light, making them ideal for children, guests or home working.

The home also benefits from multiple bathrooms including a family bathroom, an additional shower room and a convenient downstairs WC, a feature that proves invaluable during busy mornings.

Outside, the garden provides a great space for relaxing or spending time with family during the warmer months.

Templegill Crescent sits within a peaceful residential pocket of Coltness, an area that has become incredibly popular with families.

One of the biggest advantages of the location is the number of nearby schools. There are two primary schools, two secondary schools and a specialist SEN school all within easy reach. St Aidan`s High School is only a short walk away which makes the school run remarkably simple.

Wishaw town centre is also within easy walking distance and offers a wide range of amenities including supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and independent shops.

Transport links are excellent with nearby train stations and quick access to the motorway network making commuting to Glasgow and Edinburgh straightforward.
