The whitewashed pueblo of Árchez can be found in the province of Malaga located in a valley in the foothills of the Sierra Almijara.
Árchez is a popular destination for walkers, hikers, cyclists and remains true to many old traditional celebrations. It showcases a wonderful example of a Mudejar Tower dating back to the 13th century and is one of the five historic and scenic pueblos on the Mudejar trading route in the Axaquia region.
