Fitzroy Street, Totterdown

" We have loved living both in Totterdown and this specific house. The views from our balcony are fantastic and the local shops and restaruants are brilliant. We have become close with a few of our neighbours too, everyone is so friendly. Its feels so safe around where we are and there is so much green space on the doorstep. The house itself is quiet, colourful, in good condition (had minimal issues with the building in all 5 years we have been there). "

The home

A split level two bedroom maisonette with a fantastic roof terrace offering great views across Bristol. The property has its own entrance with a living room to the front, wooden floors and bay window overlooking the street. To the rear is the kitchen with plenty of units, space for a dining table and door to the rear deck. There is also a bathroom on this floor with shower over the bath. Upstairs are two large double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite toilet with sink.

The large rear deck has plenty of space for dining and a summer BBQ and great views across Bristol.

Living in Totterdown

Fitzroy Street is located in Upper Totterdown and close to the beautiful Arnos Vale Cemetery. This quiet street with far-reaching views has the best of both worlds, with a fantastic array of cafes, restaurants and independent shops on Wells Road, as well as easy access to open green spaces. Wells Road offers amenities such as Fox & West, an independent cafe and greengrocers selling local produce, Bank restaurant, Totterdown Canteen and Farrows Fish & Chips.

Green spaces nearby include the idyllic wooded Victorian cemetery of Arnos Vale and Perrett’s Park with its incredible views, as well as the fifty acres of Victoria Park. Totterdown offers easy access to and from the city, with Bath Road offering an easy link to Bath, the Portway taking you to the M5 and the M32 to the M4 and beyond. Temple Meads Train Station is also a short walk or cycle away, offering connections nationally. Traveling southwards, you find yourself in the Mendips, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
