5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Fantastic location, only five minutes’ walk from Leeds train station and ten minutes into the heart of the city centre - yet set back enough to be quiet and largely undisturbed from noise and bustle. There are a number of popular coffee shops, cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants in the immediate area, as well as a couple of convenience stores for where you can grab everyday essentials. Road parking is restricted and some of the immediate area is pedestrianised, although there are a number of public car parks in walking distance for visitors or those drive but haven’t acquired a parking space within the development.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Generally they have responded quickly, efficiently and positively. My only ‘negative’ feedback is that it took quite a while to organise the development window clean following some kind of problem with access for the external contractor, though it has now been done.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Ask about additional benefits that come with living here, there are a lot that aren’t always obvious.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Mustard Wharf is extremely close to the city centre, so everything that you need is within walking distance! Being directly next to the train station is also extremely helpful as someone who needs to travel to London every couple of weeks. There are a good number of pubs, bars and restaurants nearby which residents even get discounts at. Over summer, the street festival adds a nice touch to living here and makes the area quite lively. The only negative is that parking is extremely limited, and getting street parking can be hit or miss at certain times of the day, which can be an issue when guests are visiting.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The maintenance team are surprisingly quick when it comes to responding to any issues that have been raised. On a few occasions, I have raised issues through the portal at 2am and by 12pm on the same day, they have come to fix the problem.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The events fill up quite quickly and seem to only happen on Thursdays!

that you can rent a room with a kitchen and dining room to host for only £20! makes hosting so much easier and is amazing

Great location - two really nice coffee shops on site and nearby to really nice local pubs / restaurants. Very close to the train station (less than a five minute walk) and 10 minutes into the city centre.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
As mentioned above, issues are dealt with very promptly. I reported an issue with my washing machine to Jac at reception and within one day it had been resolved.

How friendly the community is - everyone is very friendly around mustard wharf. The staff, especially Jac are always up for a nice chat!
