Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

New Fountainbridge is located in the heart of Edinburgh just a ten minute walk away from Edinburgh Castle. However, it still retains the peace and tranquility of a private development. Amenities include on-site dedicated recycling and underground parking.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Building managers have assisted with any issues so far and keep residents updated with a bespoke app for everyone living in the development.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The local area is brilliant, everything is so near by but there is rarely any noise you’d expect from living in the city centre. The bars and restaurants around are great and everything else you need is a quick walk away.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, any issues or questions I’ve had have been resolved within hours.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

There are so many different spaces it took me a little while to work out where everything is.

    The Arches, LE3

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The property is ideally located in the heart of the city. The city centre, cinema, gaming zones, and a variety of restaurants are all within a 10-minute walk. There are also convenient local shops nearby, including Sainsbury’s and Londis. The transport connections are excellent, making it easy to get around. A canal is located close by, and Abbey Park is just a 10–15 minute walk away, which is perfect for relaxing outdoors. The building offers on-site parking and has a well-maintained waste disposal facility. Overall, it’s a very convenient and well-connected place to live.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Everytime on time. Be it related to fixtures or water or general maintenance.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how active and community-focused the development is. The regular events and shared spaces like the gym and working pods make it easy to meet people and feel part of a community, which has been a pleasant surprise.

    Kampus, M1

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area offers a good range of local shops, supermarkets, and takeaway options within easy walking distance, along with several restaurants and bars nearby. There are also parks and open spaces suitable for exercise and relaxation. Transport links are convenient, with regular bus services and nearby train or tram connections providing easy access to the city centre, although services can be busy during peak hours. Living on the street is generally pleasant, though as the property faces a busy road, there can be some traffic noise, particularly during peak periods. Residents are required to dispose of their own waste, with a bin system that uses three separate options for different types of rubbish, which is straightforward once familiar. Anti-social behaviour is minimal, and parking is available but can be limited at busier times

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The building management has generally been responsive and helpful when issues are raised, addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. They communicate clearly and make reasonable efforts to resolve problems efficiently

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the building is pet-friendly. It’s a lovely feature for residents with pets and creates a welcoming atmosphere. However, for those with allergies like myself, it’s helpful to be aware that there may occasionally be pet hair in shared areas. Overall, it’s just something to keep in mind so you can be better prepared and comfortable in the space

    The Blossoms, CR0

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The area is quite nice and safe. It's also quite busy if you're into that and lively as well. You have the box part quite close and you have some restaurants as well just stone throw away. You also have a lot of convenience stores and groceries shop close by. You're 2 mins away from Tesco and 4 mins away from sainsbury. You have the lloyds park and queens park closeby too

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

They've been quite quick in responding to issues. I needed my washer fixed and they came a few hours after it's been fixed and did a wonderful job.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

They don't really talk about the insites bill which should be included in the energy bills.
