We bought this house because it’s a great size for a two-bedroom property, with a driveway, garage, and lovely front and back gardens. The rear garden is flat and easy to maintain, and the bedrooms feel bright and airy. We especially enjoy the conservatory, which is sunny and a perfect place to relax. The house also feels private, with a nice green space and a large tree out front, and we’ve improved its energy efficiency by installing new windows.

We moved to Ivybridge to downsize after living in Plymouth for many years, and chose it because it’s a lovely, well-connected village. It has great local amenities, including shops, schools, and transport links, as well as easy access to parks, woodland, and riverside walks. It’s a welcoming area for all ages, with plenty to do, and that’s what we’ll miss most.
