Description

Owners Comments…

In the 11 years since we moved into Ferndale Cottages we have raised 2 children and created a lot of happy memories. When we found Ferndale Cottages we were blown away with how unique and different it felt compared to the other houses we had seen, as well as the spacious bedrooms and fantastic downstairs living area. The house has so much character and we loved that it stood out amongst all the newer properties we had seen.

We spent lots of days and evenings out in the garden having BBQs and making woodfired pizzas. In the summer it's a lovely sun trap and we'd often completely lose track of time on a warm and sunny evening.

Over the years we have really appreciated the convenient location, with the bus stop and Budgens directly opposite, and the village pub and post office next door. We felt quite spoilt for choice when it came to choosing a primary school and loved that we were able to walk our children to school. If we had extra time in the mornings we used to go 'off road' and walk up the various footpaths and bridleways in the area. There are lots of play parks to stop off at when out and about too.

The area has a real community feel and there are plenty of things to do, with the local village halls and spaces running things like small business markets and repair cafes, extracurricular clubs and activities for a variety of ages. There are always so many friendly faces when you're out in Three Mile Cross and Spencers Wood.

We hope that the next owners will enjoy the house as much as we did and build lots of happy memories.

Dan & Neil Estate Agents’ comments…

Step inside this character semi-detached home that’s absolutely bursting with personality and offering a lot of space for modern living. From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice how much room there is to spread out and make yourself at home.

Upstairs, you’ll find two big double bedrooms, both bright and spacious, along with a nice big four-piece family bathroom.

Downstairs is where this home really shines. The space is epic and has all been opened up, creating a fantastic flow throughout. There’s a generous lounge/diner that leads seamlessly through to a versatile utility/store/conservatory space, giving you plenty of options to suit your lifestyle. On the other side, you’ll find a galley-style kitchen that’s been really nicely finished, with enough room for a table and chairs, ideal for casual dining or your morning coffee.

Outside, there’s a courtyard-style garden with space for a shed, and uniquely, this home also comes with a garage, meaning there’s plenty of parking - a real bonus for this type of property.

Offered with no onward chain, this is a fantastic opportunity to move straight in and start enjoying everything this lovely home has to offer.
