Why Live Here?

It ticks all the boxes - period charm with well looked-after interior, private front garden and back terrace - all housed inside a beautiful Georgian building.

Why this Flat?

The entrance is imposing, with a gated private front garden leading to grand pillars framing your new front door.

Inside is light and bright with large windows and towering ceiling height.

You'll find a very well looked-after flat with plenty of storage, ready to be your new home.

At the front of the property is the living room, with a lovely airy feel, next down the hallway is a large storage cupboard and carefully looked-after bathroom. Next is the bedroom with an entire wall of built-in storage and west facing garden terrace. Lastly, the kitchen is full equipped with built-in appliances.

Why did the Current Owner Buy this Flat?

'I fell in love with its exterior, the high ceilings, how perfectly proportioned it was. I had all the accessibility benefits of somewhere central but being set back from the road and with my own outdoor space at the back could feel very peaceful. And the storage was incredible (you don’t find that in a new build).

Living there was wonderful years of my life the commuting conveniently, throwing parties, hosting lunches in the space at the back or just having coffee by myself with the French doors open.

What the Current Owner Loves About the Area

Brixton Road has it all: post office, pharmacist, Tesco express but on top of that you get a variety of independent shops, delicatessens and lovely varied places to eat. There’s a Pure Gym at the top of Brixton Road just by Kennington Park, which is also gorgeous and where I had my first date with my husband.

Adulis is an amazing Eritrean, Fentiman Arms is a lovely pub and the Collective cafe in Kennington Park does great pizza.
