We moved into Purssell Close back in 1982 when the house had just been built, we have loved living here over the last 44 years where we started our family.

One of the main attractions when purchasing was the green outside our home (located in this quiet cul-de-sac) which from our front kitchen we were able to watch our three children play with their friends. Purssell Close has an amazing family feel about it with wonderful neighbours. We will truly miss them and hope when we move we will find a new set of friendly neighbours just like them.

We’ve also fall within the catchment for Lowbrook Academy, which was recently recognised by The Sunday Times as the best primary school in the South of England and among the top 10 in England - Its just a 5 minute walk away.

Now that the kids have grown up (and they are starting to have their kids), we’ve decided it’s time to pass this home onto new owners. We’re excited to see who takes over and makes this place their own. We’ve had an amazing time here, and we hope the new owners will have just as much fun.

Area comments... On the outskirts of Maidenhead centre, but only around 7 minutes away by car, Purssell Close is surrounded by the leafy green villages and hamlets that Maidenhead is known for as well as there being plenty of green spaces to explore on the doorstep at Ockwell's Park and The Thicket (National Trust). You can also drive into Marlow or Windsor in around 15-20 minutes, with the excellent transport links nearby. There are several well regarded schools in walking distance including Lowbrook Acadamy which is highly sought after.
