We asked the owner about her lovely property and this is what she had to say.

1. What attracted you to the property ?

I loved the character charm of the cottage, especially the beams and log burner. The lovely big sash windows . I also loved that there was the conservatory for extra space.

2. What changes/improvements have you made to the house ?

I have updated the bathroom, modernising it and removing the tiny bath to allow for a nice walk-in shower. We have also had a new damp course added, the living room was stripped back to brick, injected and replastered.

3. What have you enjoyed about living there ?

Being within walking distance of the station and main village is great with lots of lovely dog walks in the surrounding areas. The garden is lovely in the summer, sitting in the sun until evening has been a nice way to spend the evenings. Having a log burner has been amazing too, in the winter it is so cosy and really adds to the cottage charm. The spare room worked as a great office when I worked from home, great lighting and space for a decent size desk.
