In the summer of 2019 mother and son, Lex and Tony Hanford decided to join forces, utilising their combined experience and skills to form a new, independent letting agency for the York area.

Hanford Homes operates with a purpose and drive to provide the very highest level of customer experience, whilst offering a value that can seldom still be seen with traditional, “shop-based” agents.

As an online agent Hanford Homes is committed to being visible and present to both our customers and the wider community, with no less emphasis placed on the importance of meeting face to face to do business.

With the roots of our family and business firmly set in York, we have lived in the area for over 40 years and are extremely proud to have had this privilege. We know streets, snickleways, history, shops, restaurants and pretty much every one of the many, MANY fantastic pubs! We hope to work closely with local businesses and the community to ensure York keeps its reputation as one of the best places to live in the UK.
