Description

"We have absolutely adored living on Rugby Road for the past six years. We are very proud of the hard work and many hours we put into renovating and bringing this period property back to life; we have truly made this house our home and it has a special place in our hearts - we will be very sad to leave. We have made wonderful memories here which we will always look back on fondly; glorious summers in the garden where the sun lingers unspoilt all day, balloon-spotting, entertaining friends and family, growing our family, winter evenings snuggled by the log burner and evening strolls around the many parks and Nightingale Valley (sometimes topped off with a drink at Beeses!)."

The home

Situated in the quiet residential street of Rugby Road, this two-bedroom, bay-fronted Victorian terraced home offers a real sense of warmth throughout.

The ground floor is centred around an open-plan living and dining room, with the two spaces flowing naturally into one another. Original wooden flooring sits alongside a contemporary log burner, creating a comfortable balance of period character and modern living.
The kitchen sits just beyond, with solid wood worktops and additional under the stair storage which the current owners use as a pantry. Just off the kitchen is the downstairs bathroom, adding to the practicality of the ground floor layout.

Upstairs, both bedrooms are generously sized, with the front bedroom benefiting from two large windows that add space and natural light. The four-piece family bathroom is particularly spacious and includes both a bath and a separate shower.

The current owners have also upgraded the electrics and heating, including a full rewire, a new boiler, and a Hive system. The loft has also been boarded, offering easily accessible and extensive storage.

The outside
The south-west-facing garden and side return is a real sun trap in the summer months; it has been recently updated with raised composite decking and includes a raised sun platform, making it a great spot for hosting friends and family.
