Description

'Cleeve is lovely village that has two pubs, two shops, two hairdressers, two restaurants, a village hall, a cricket club and even two Chinese restaurants - and yet Bristol is 20 minutes down the road. We love calling Cleeve home and hope this house brings it's next owners the enjoyment we had from living here'

The Home

This semi detached home has been extensively improved by the current owners to offer a brilliant choice of living areas, entertaining space and bedrooms. The home measures in excess of 1800 square feet and flows seamlessly out into the level and sunny rear garden, which makes the house feel even bigger in the spring and summer months. Much of the home stems off of a spacious hallway which leads onto the kitchen/dining area, with a fishtank window and a separate opening through to the large living room which measures approximately 6.5 x 4.8 metres. The home is currently used as a four bed with a dressing room to the main bedroom, but could equally be converted back to a five bedroom home. There are three modern bathrooms, one of which is also off of the main bedroom, creating a spacious suite as a first choice bedroom area. This modern home is sold with no onward chain and the recent renovation should allow a new owner to move in and enjoy the house and its garden immediately.

The Outside

This house has a spacious plot, with parking for several vehicles to the front. To the rear, the long garden has a south-westerly aspect and a beautiful backdrop of fields to the rear, which have been bought by a local resident to protect from development. The owners have created a fantastic seating area and a spot for a hot tub, to the rear of the garden overlooking the field to the rear. Adjacent to this is also an outdoor bar, an ideal space for entertaining, or for use as a games room or office.

Living in Cleeve

Cleeve is a convivial, convenient and sporty North Somerset village surrounded by beautiful countryside, ideal for dog walks and outdoor living. The village is particularly popular with commuters, being excellently placed for access to both Bristol and Weston-super-Mare. Mainline railway stations at nearby Yatton and Backwell provide direct links to Bristol and beyond, while travel by car is also easy into to Bristol City Centre and the M5 motorway network. Court de Wyck Primary School is on Bishops Road itself and within easy walking distance, with secondary schooling available in Backwell. On the doorstep, this village has a succesful cricket club, tennis club and football club, as well as a brilliant gym and pool at Cadbury Club and Spa, not far away. The village has a fantastic shop in Touts which sells lots of locally sourced veg and meat, as well as beers from some of Bristol’s best breweries, whilst Brockley Stores nearby also adds to the choice for quality produce. There are several venues to also choose from for residents of the area including the Cricket Club, The Tannery Bar and The Star. The area has lots of beautiful walks on the doorstep including Cadbury Hill Nature Reserve and Goblin Combe.
