5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Castings is the perfect location for city living. I frequently get the train and use public transport and It is so convenient for this with a tram stop 2-3 minutes away and Piccadilly station a 6 minute walk. It has a costa on the door step and other local shops & restaurants nearby.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, i had an issue with the internet, which wasn't down to the landlord, regardless the team were quick to offer help and i managed to get it resolved without any stress.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wouldn't say there was much I wasn't sure about when i moved it but for any minor questions i had, the concierge team were always on hand.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Convenient location with easy access to supermarkets, bars, and the train station. Free on-street parking is available nearby, though the surrounding area has a more industrial feel.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes - all raised through IT. Service levels have been good, some delays with the repairs.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Good on street parking is available and Track Brewery is only across the road!

4Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Living in this area has been a generally positive experience. There’s a good mix of local shops, supermarkets, and options within walking distance, along with a few nice restaurants and cafés that give the area some character. There are also nearby green spaces which are great for walks or relaxing, although they can get busy at weekends. Transport links are a strong point, with regular bus and train services making it easy to get into the city centre and surrounding areas. However, during peak hours, services can be crowded and occasional delays do happen. The street itself is relatively quiet and feels safe, with friendly neighbours and a decent community atmosphere. Overall, it’s a convenient and comfortable place to live.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally been responsive when issues are raised, and communication is usually clear. Some problems have been dealt with quickly and efficiently, which is appreciated. However, there have also been occasions where certain issues took longer than expected to be resolved, which was frustrating and not ideal. Overall, the response is mixed, with a combination of prompt action in some cases and delays in others.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is how the day-to-day atmosphere of the building can vary depending on the time of week. It can be very calm and quiet most of the time, but there are periods where it feels busier and a bit noisier than expected. It’s also helpful to know that getting to know neighbours can make a big difference, as people are generally friendly and approachable.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Perfect location. Easily walkable for convenience shops and a big weekly shop at aldi. Easily walkable to city centre for shopping and northern quarter for bars, but also feels far enough away to avoid all the craziness and noise of those areas. Super close to train station, ideal for travel and meeting visitors.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Only had to use maintenance once for a small leak under the kitchen sink, and they came to fix it about 15 minutes later
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Parking at Baird street for visitors is ideal, and the walk to the train station is much shorter than expected - about 5 mins for a fast walker!
Manager's response5Thank you for your kind review :) We’re really glad you’re enjoying the facilities and the homely feel of the building. We’re happy you’re enjoying your experience here!

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
An amazing location that’s surrounded by some incredible craft breweries and super close to Piccadilly station. Very little traffic noise from the road, but some noise from the tram going past.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The management has responded very quickly, including times when there have been issues during the night/early hours
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
Sometimes living so close to some amazing food/drink places can be quite dangerous!
