The most wonderful thing about Rainsborough Chase is the peace, quiet, and sense of security living here brings.

We couldn’t believe our luck when it came onto the market. Tucked away in the corner, the only people who come to the house are visitors, which gives it a very secure, private feel. We loved the flow of the rooms and the wonderful amount of light that flooded in. With a south-east facing garden, we get the full benefit of the sunshine.

The lounge in particular benefits from dual aspect lighting. The patio doors leading out to the enclosed garden have worked well for many social events. All windows were replaced approximately 5 years ago with thickened glazing and the ability to wash the outside from the inside! Talking of updates, the radiators were replaced about 3 or 4 years ago, and a new boiler was installed. The house can get really toasty.

The rooms are all a good size, and decorating has been easy because all the walls are smooth. You notice these things when you have lived in a much older property.
When we moved in, we worked in London and found the house was perfectly positioned for commuting as the M4 is so close by. And, access to the M40 is only a short distance away. Yet, at weekends, we loved being so close to green spaces – you can easily walk to Ockwells Park.

The proximity to shops was an important factor, and Wessex Way is very close by for all your needed essentials.

But after 22 years, it is time to move on. I leave behind a much-loved, happy home, amazing neighbours (there’s a very friendly WhatsApp group where updates are posted, advice is sought and given, and social events are organised), and the glorious space to start a new phase of life. This house deserves a family who can bring a new vibrancy to it, and I hope that it brings them as much happiness as I have enjoyed here.
