ABOUT THE LANSDOWNE
The bright, double-height lobby gives way to a series of smart workspaces and lounges across two levels. The ground floor workspace is a far cry from staid corporate office. Pull up a pew at a communal desk or sink into an armchair in the library-like green room for a laptop session away from the buzz.
Only a 5 minute walk to FiveWays Train station and 3 minute walk to FiveWays Tram station, this building offers a spacious, air-conditioned gym on the lower ground floor, which is stocked with state-of-the-art Technogym equipment, including distinctive weight and cardio zones. A secure bike storage area nearby includes a workshop for on-the-go maintenance and a table tennis table.
An airy, flexible space for co-working, events and good conversation, the cultural mixer is The Lansdowne’s central hub. Choose a cubicle for ultimate privacy when you’re plugged in or settle in with a book or laptop by the window. Ideal for birthdays or gatherings that require a little extra fanfare, there’s a fully equipped kitchen at the far end and a solid oak dining table to seat up to 18.For cosy catch ups with the neighbours, The Den is a sophisticated hangout space with a wall-mounted television, pool table and a stack of board games.
AREA GUIDE
From lazy evenings in effortlessly chic wine bars, to the constant buzz of a cultural quarter that pulls no punches, there’s nowhere else quite like the UK’s second city.
TO DO
Where do we start with Birmingham? One of the UK’s largest cities, it has its own unique character and is a multicultural hub for creativity, independent eateries , bars and shops in the heart of the Midlands. You’ll find hidden gems throughout the city, however let’s start local to The Lansdowne with Edgbaston and the fantastic local places to eat including the newly opened Smoke and Ash Pizzeria, which offers the finest Italian cuisine and some great experimental cocktails. Chapter restaurant offers delicious breakfast through to dinner menus, whilst Loki Wines has an amazing choice of wines and bottled beers, which can be enjoyed on their terrace. For some good old fashioned grub, you can head to The High Field or The Physician. However, if you fancy a touch of luxury why not head to the Michelin star restaurant, Simpson.
Edgbaston Village is also home to luxury interior specialists; there are a whole host of home and lifestyle stores in the area, including Neptune, BoConcept and many others. And if you’re a fan of the active and outdoorsy lifestyle, visit Birmingham botanical gardens located only a short walk away from The Lansdowne, a truly beautiful green space featuring and wonderful glass houses.

It’s nice and conveniently placed, though I wish the bus stop across was in service. However well placed from groceries, uni, and city centre and tram and train station.

Yes, they were very helpful and quick to respond to needs
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Manager's response4Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! We’re really glad to hear you’ve had such a positive experience, and Augustina will be thrilled to know she made such an impact. It’s great that you’re enjoying the facilities — and we appreciate the suggestion about keeping the cultural mixer open later; we’ll make sure it’s passed on. We’re happy you find the location convenient, even with the bus stop currently out of service. And it’s wonderful to hear that the team has been quick and helpful whenever you’ve needed support. Manager's response5Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! We’re really glad to hear you love the concierge team — Augustina will be especially happy to hear. We appreciate you calling out the team’s willingness to help; it means a lot to us. Thanks as well for the suggestions. We’ll take another look at the lobby music volume, and we’ll definitely pass along your idea about keeping the cultural and game spaces open later — we know how useful that would be. It’s great to hear you feel safe in the area and enjoy the local supermarkets, even with the occasional noise from ambulances and police cars. And we’re happy the team was able to resolve any issues quickly for you. Thanks again for the lovely review and for recommending us — we really appreciate it!
