    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The building is right opposite a train station, bus terminals and tram stops so its is well connected and convenient to get to different parts of London. Grocery shops are right down the street with plenty of options for takeaway. Shopping center is largely empty but good for last-minute shops. This development is in the heart of Croydon so expect frequent police car sirens and people shouting drunkenly at 2am. But windows exist for a reason i guess.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    We submit requests for any malfunctions like washing machines and faulty Wifi to the resident app and they will assign us maintence people who fix them. A shame that current residents usually have to wait for a few days to a few weeks as they prioritize fixing up the apartments that has just been rented out but in urgent cases escalating issues to the reception staff usually helps with the waiting time.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Events are being held almost every Friday and Saturday at Boxpark, which is right opposite us creating noise that can sometimes be a nuisance. Also almost every house hold has a pet so expect a furry friend with you every time you go down the lift (a nice bonus in my opinion but i know this may bother someone)

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Transportation wise, this location is very convenient - the building is directly across from East Croydon train station and has multiple tram/bus stops on the same street. The gorgeous Park Hill Park is less than a 10 minute walk away. I have been here less than a week, so I haven't truly explore the area yet, but I can say that there is easy access to everyday needs such as food shops, restaurants, electronic stores, banks, etc.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    I received confirmation of my maintenance request and the issue was handled quickly.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    I wished I had known more about the internet setup in the building before hand.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Croydon has a lot of bad publicity however no one speaks about the excellent transport links to all the major destination. I would like to praise the young gentlemen that daily cleans outside the building. The reception staff especially Chantell, Daniel and Funto alway greet with smile, friendly and professional.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Most definitely, the reception staff are so helpful and supportive.

    The community involvement especially the pet group and the exercise classes offered.

    The amount of shops and things immediately available is great, especially when you’re busy throughout the day, or even when you’re planning a night out, etc. The transport was also a big reason why we moved here initially, it’s 15/20 mins into Central London which is perfect for work.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    They’ve been brilliant, they’ve typically responded same day and are genuinely good people aswell, which is always really helpful.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Probably should’ve taken a bit more time to have a look at some two-beds, which would’ve given us a lot more space.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Living right next to East Croydon station, BoxPark, and other local shops, has been one of the best things about living at Ten Degrees. If I need anything, food, wise, entertainment, wise, quick transport into Central London, all of this is right at my doorstep. I’m able to entertain friends, try different types of cuisines from nearby restaurants, go shopping on the high street at the stores and malls that are a short walking distance, and have quick transport links into Central London and the nearest airport (Gatwick). Living in the city center has been very convenient for me. The only “downside” about living in the city is that there isn’t enough available parking either outside or in the building to accommodate visitors (I’d welcome that!). Other than that, living here at Ten Degrees is the best place to be for me.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Constantine and the team have been excellent in handling any issues I raised. The process on raising issues is very easy to navigate, and Constantine often follows up quite quickly to make sure the job is complete. Constantine is also very accessible, and is always there to answer any questions or help residents out. He does all this with a smile and a warm greeting, which I appreciate! He’s also very knowledgeable and professional in his work. I really appreciate Constantine and the maintenance team!

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Nothing necessarily, as everything was explained to me beforehand. I would say, though, that I appreciate the close community residents in this building have created. You’ll meet different people who live in the building, who you can create community with. There are those who own dogs and may walk together, there are those who may host events and invite people in the building (I also think the management team also host events for residents as well occasionally). It really does feels like a true community here. That’s something that I appreciate, as that’s not always the case when you move into a new building.
