Description

Where to start with such a home?  The space; the location; the facilities; the high spec?  Built to the current owners high tech specification less than ten years ago, this home has many energy saving, eco functions as well being wired for sound upstairs and down and with CAT6 cabling in every room.

With a great sized lounge/family room area - not an after thought - this is a great sized area on it's own.  Factor in the very ample space for a large family dining room table and it's wide, bright and easily accessible for the garden via two sets of french doors too.  The kitchen doesn't skimp on size either - fully integrated white goods as you might expect with a large expanse of worktop to take care of all those catering needs.  The island again is a great size, the five burner gas hob only taking up a small portion of the area, with ample seating on the breakfast side too.

The downstairs isn't done yet though, with the utility room tucked away next to the double garage, and away from the hubbub of family life are a couple of additional rooms on the other side.  Currently utilitized as a study, with additional double bedroom and dressing room.  Easily re-purposed into separate living / bathing space as the facilities are in place if needed for single storey living for a family member, to be nearby but with independence.

The decor throughout is neutral with mainly painted walls, except where needed in wet areas, which means it's ready for a new family to imprint their personality in this amazing home.

Upstairs, the five double bedrooms are serviced by two en-suites plus the spacious family bathroom - two of the three bathrooms have double sinks and all have covered storage in vanity units.

Whilst the bedrooms to the front have some restricted headroom, it doesn't impact on the space and size of the rooms - all easily accommodate a double bed with additional storage.

The garden is wrapped around three sides of the home, and whilst not in a traditional square, has been attractively 'zoned' off with new composite decking with excellent space for outside dining and BBQs; huddles in the tiled and lowered firepit area; raised planters to bring some round year colour; a large garden room - so versatile as a distinct and out the way workroom, playroom, grad pad or for additional overnight guests when completed; an area for play equipment and beyond that further space for more decking or for a shed if needed for garden essentials.

The garage is a double and houses the batteries for the solar panels which help make the home pretty self sufficient - the energy produced not only runs the home but the feed in tariff helps offset the gas use.  With an air source heat pump in place too - even the need to use the boiler to run the home is minimal.

So much to see here - you really need to view to appreciate the functions and features and picture your own family enjoying the space.

Location wise, it is a lovely spot - near to immediate facilies, public transport, schools, outside spaces but also with easy access to larger shopping areas and road access via A127 and A13 for journeys into London, Southend or wider Essex.

Local schools give choice with Primary (Thundersley Primary and Westwood), Secondary (Deanes and King John), Specialist and Faith Schools and Seevic Colleage all being nearby.  Bus routes also on the doorstep for travel further afield to High Schools in Westcliff etc.

Whilst the immediate area provides good local facilities, towns of Hadleigh, Rayleigh and Benfleet are just a few minutes away by car or public transport, and the major roads taking you on to Southend, Chelmsford, Lakeside are within just a few minutes too.

There are great leisure opportunities in the area - everything for woodland walks, parks, leisure centres (community and Virgin) to shops, bars and restaurants, cinemas and theatres.  It really is a great area with easy access to anything you may need - education, employment, health facilities, leisure - it's all here.
