If you are looking for your first home, a place to crash or even an investment opportunity, then 19 Llys Daniel Owen is a pretty good place to start. With two decent-sized bedrooms, a spacious open lounge with the kitchen just off and probably the largest garden out of all its neighbours, and with plenty of parking too.
Pulling up outside, the first thing that struck me was just how green it is around here, considering how close we are to the centre of Mold. There's a large area of grass to the front of the home, with a huge parking area to the right of it, which is where I left my car!
This house is one of two others, this one being located at what I think is the best end. A small recess is where the front door is hidden, with a large cupboard in the wall for stuff, exactly what stuff you put in there is up to you. A tiled roof overhangs the entrance, this will help protect you from the elements when arriving home from your shopping trip, and you're heavily ladened down with bags. It's also a great place to leave wet shoes before entering the house.
Stepping inside, through the front door with its glass panels that help to keep the rooms illuminated with natural light, we enter the inner porch. This is the place for your shoes, coats, hats and anything wet that you don't want to leave outside, but don't want inside the home. There's also a large storage cupboard, you know, for all the stuff we need, but don't want on show.
From the inner porch, we step into the lounge. This is a large room that also incorporates the open staircase leading us to the.....first floor, you guessed it! An open brick feature wall fills the length of one wall, with an archway opening into the kitchen, whereas opposite this, a set of patio doors opening into the private rear garden. This room is capable of taking some large pieces of furniture, offering a verity of ways you could set it up to call it home.
The kitchen, while not massive, being open-plan, makes it feel larger. You've got voids and space for all that you're going to need to start off, there's an oven and hob, work surfaces cover three walls providing plenty of space for food preparation, as well as a place for your 21st Century gadgets that we're becoming so accustomed to today. A large window offers views over the front aspect, where you'll be delighted to hear, you're not overlooked. This is a feature from not just the front of the home, but also from the rear, rare for a modern estate, I'd say!
Opening the patio doors, we walk out into the large garden, larger than most on the estate I'd say. This is a great place to sit and unwind after a hard days work, a place to soak up the sun and when the summer gets here, crack the BBQ out and get some mates round for a fun day of food and drink.....or you can just sit on your own and appreciate life!
Moving upstairs, we come to the landing. While not massive, it's perfectly adequate for its purpose, with doors leading to everything you'll need.
The main bedroom is, as you'd expect, a pretty decent size, capable of taking a double bed as well as other pieces of free standing furniture. There is a large built-in cupboard that will negate the need for at least one extra piece. A window allows the night sky to fill the room and provide a place for star gazing, it could become a new hobby, why not??
The second bedroom is obviously smaller than the main, but as second bedrooms go in a two bedroom home, it's not a bad size. Again, we have a window to allow the natural light in and provide views over our surroundings.
The final room on the tour is into the bathroom. This has been fitted with a modern contemporary suite that comprises a pedestal wash hand basin, a panel bath and of course, last but by no means least, the toilet, that we'd be so lost without. There's a hand held shower, as well as another attached shower to the tiled wall, with a glass screen protector to prevent overzealous users from drowning the room. A frosted window lets the light flow in and also prevents prying eyes from wandering in.

All in all, if you want to be central to Mold and all that it has to offer, twice weekly market, every supermarket you could ask for, an excellent array of restaurants as well as pubs and bars, you need two bedrooms, a decent living area, and a generous sized garden in which to unwind when the sund's out (yeah it's coming), and off road parking if you can't be bothered to walk a few minutes into town .....then give Berry and George a call today, it'll be the best thing you do all day...unless you're a film star, racing driver etc, in which case, it'll be the 2nd best thing you do!
Berry and George are here to help you throughout the buying and selling process, nothing is too small for us to help you with - please feel free to call us to discuss anything with regards to buying or selling.
