Description
We asked the sellers to tell us of their time living in their home and here's what they had to say:
Alwold Crescent has provided us with a family home that has served 3 generations. Even prior to the recent top to bottom refurbishment we have always taken care of the property & we’ll truly be sad to say goodbye.
Being just a 15 minute walk away from Lee Station has made commuting to & from the heart of the city, day in – day out something we’ve never taken for granted! We've also enjoyed the benefit of communal parking bays right in the middle of the green that we & our neighbours all look straight out on to.
With a ‘go to’ community newsagents that has had the same owners ever since I can remember & a Tesco Local both just a 5 minute walk away we have never had to travel far to stock up on any basics. The locality is also served by the famous Dutch House, which over the years has offered passers-by and locals alike breakfasts, beverages & all round fine meals!
As a family that has always enjoyed spending summer evenings in our spacious garden which provides both privacy and tranquillity we’ve been privileged in having an outdoor environment where a hectic day can soon be countered by some well-deserved P&Q & down time. In addition to this our home is just a 10 minute walk from both Horn & Sutcliffe Parks, which both provide a unique opportunity for all those appreciative of mother nature.
