Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ealing Broadway is a vibrant hub and wonderfully connected area.Parking is generally quite limited however with the lizzy, central and district lines running into central London, it is definitely workable. There is a fantastic mixture of green spaces (lammas park, walpole park), cafes, supermarkets, and retail shops.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

As mentioned above, building management are lovely, available and always on hand to help, but given the number of residents, more staff on hand would be welcomed as requests are often backlogged. While requests will generally always be attended to eventually, staff are also not always super responsive, and there are often delays between requests made via writing (text, email etc) and when the requests are acutally attended to or addressed.

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

Ealing Broadway is a vibrant and well-connected area that offers a great balance between city life and a more relaxed suburban feel. The range of local shops is excellent, with the Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre providing plenty of high-street brands, supermarkets, and everyday essentials. There’s also a strong selection of independent cafés, restaurants, and pubs, catering to a variety of tastes, from casual dining to more upscale options. Walpole Park and Ealing Green are also very nice

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Yes, I had an issue with my door and they are quick to help. Aswell as getting locked out a few times they are always here to help.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

The ground floor communal space is nice to do work and there is a hot chocolate machine

    Dec 2024

Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

The location couldn’t be better. The building overlooks Ealing Broadway station which has direct access to District, Central and Elizabeth lines. The Ealing Broadway shopping center is 1 minute walk away and has almost every store you could possible need. The neighborhood can be busy but The Apiary is situated back off the street and can only be accessed by residents or delivery (e.g. Amazon).

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

Vesa has requested a 3rd washer and dryer be installed which will be a 50% increase. She has also dealt with noisy tenants politely. Vesa and Joshua put their heart and soul into keeping us residents safe and comfortable.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

Some apartments are rented to a local educational facility so their occupants change frequently. These short term let’s do not contribute to the building feeling like a home as the people who live there are not on a 12 month lease and are not invested in making The Apiary a community.

Living in Ealing Broadway offers a mix of advantages and challenges. The area is well-known for its excellent range of shops, restaurants, and bars. The shopping scene is diverse, with both high street chains and unique local boutiques, while the restaurants provide a variety of cuisines to suit different tastes. Bars and pubs contribute to a lively nightlife. Open spaces like Walpole Park and Ealing Common offer peaceful retreats and are perfect for families and outdoor activities. Transport links are a major strength of Ealing Broadway. The station is a hub with connections to the Central, District, and Elizabeth lines, providing fast and convenient access to central London and beyond.

How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

The landlord has always been quick to answer any queries or maintenance issues that I have encountered during my stay, including through e-mail and WhatsApp.

Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
