    Excellent location. Everything is so close. If you’re not walking, transport is still easy as there are many bus stops and train stations within walking distance.

    They are quick to answer and quick to schedule any needed maintenance.

    The location of the building in the heart of the Merchant City is ideal. There are plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Also, Candleriggs has established good relationships with local businesses to offer discounts to residents - a great perk! There are lots of buses and trains close by to get all over the city easily.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Any problems have been addressed quickly and any repairs promptly fixed by Jason. No complaints.

    Nothing I can think of at this time. The Candleriggs team are all very welcoming and available to help if residents have any queries.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Honestly, you could not pick a better location in Glasgow. It is 10 minutes from the train station, right in the center of the city. Shops, car parking, the Glasgow Green all within a 5-minute walk as well. There is also loads of nice bars, and restaurants nearby too. I know there are some rougher parts of Glasgow but I have never once felt unsafe anywhere near the building.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Yes, my flatmate and I thought we had issues with our refrigerator and a maintenance man was sent up within 30 minutes!

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Hmm, I honestly can't think of anything. Maybe the view on the top deck on the 15th floor? I was told about the roof garden but the view from the 15th floor is crazy, best in Scotland for sure.

    I wanted to live in the city centre and this did not disappoint. We are surrounded by so many lovely coffee shops are restaurants. There is also parking on site which I just think is a fantastic feature. Also the cycle storage is huge! Great for my kids bikes to be stored securely

    Nope not at all! Very well managed and always so responsive

    I wish I had known how much it feels like a real community. Everyone is so friendly !
