I like the location. For me, its convenient for work. Shops within a few minutes' walk, open until 11pn for short notice and late night needs.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I've given up on all but the most pressing and urgent issues. They just don't care.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area around Duet is really convenient. MediaCity is only a short walk away and there are plenty of cafés, restaurants, bars and places to grab food nearby. The Quays are nice for walks. Transport is also very good – the tram stop in front of the building make it easy to get into Manchester city centre in around 15–20 minutes.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Whenever I’ve raised issues, the building management team has been responsive and helpful. Some things get resolved quickly, while others can take a bit longer depending on the type of problem, but communication is usually clear and they do try to keep residents updated.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I didn’t realise before moving in is how active the community is. There are regular resident events like Friday socials, comedy nights, weekly yoga and now even a run club. It’s actually a great way to meet neighbours and makes the building feel much more social than a typical apartment block. If you want to get involved, it’s easy to meet people and feel part of the community quite quickly.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The Quays is a great place to live if you enjoy modern amenities, a safe feel, and excellent transport links - with a tram and bus stop right in front of the building. There's plenty to do - cafés, restaurants, The Lowry, MediaCityUK - and the waterfront walks are a big bonus. The area can feel a bit quieter or less community-focused than some other Manchesger neighbourhoods - but you can have that right in the building. Overall: convenient and lively enough - ideal for modern city living by the water.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Easy to raise tickets through the app or by speaking directly with the concierge. Very efficient.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The car park spaces are limited for the number of flats in the building.
