Welsh Hook is a small hamlet which has a cluster of Dwellings and a Church and stands within 2 ½ miles or so of the village of Wolfscastle and is also within a similar distance of the other well known village of Letterston. Directions from Fishguard

From Fishguard take the Main A40 road south for some 5 miles, passing through the village of Letterston and a Third of a Mile or so further on (and on leaving the village) take the turning on the right, signposted to Welsh Hook. Continue on this road for a mile and a half or so and upon reaching the ‘T’ junction with the Wolfscastle to Welsh Hook road, turn right. Continue on this road for 350 yards or so and proceed over the bridge and a 100 yards or so further on, the entrance to the Woodland is situated on the right hand side of the road after passing the turning on the right and prior to the Church.. A ‘For Sale’ board is erected on site.

Directions from Haverfordwest

Alternatively, from Haverfordwest take the Main A40 road north for some 7 miles passing through the village of Wolfscastle and a half a mile or so further on in the direction of Fishguard and upon reaching the first set of crossroads, turn left for Welsh Hook. Continue on this road for a mile and a half or so, passing through the hamlet of Welsh Hook and proceed over the bridge and 100 yards or so further on the fieldgate entrance to the Woodland is situated on the right hand side of the road (just past the turning on the right) and prior to the Church which is on the left as you go up the hill. A ‘For Sale’ board is erected on site.

The Woodland comprises of part OS No 1465 and extends to 3.10 Acres or thereabouts. The Woodland is either level lying or steeply sloping with a northerly aspect and comprises of Ancient Broadleaf/Deciduous Woodland which is either bounded or bisected by a small River (a tributary of the Western Cleddau) There is a hardsurfaced track running alongside the southern boundary of the Woodland which is classified as a bridleway. The bridleway runs from the Council Road at point ‘A’ on the Plan (where there is a fieldgate) and as far as point ‘B’ on the same Plan (where is leaves the Property). There is also a disused quarry adjacent to the eastern boundary of the Land.

The boundaries of the Woodland concerned are edged in red on the attached Plan to the Scale of 1/2500.
