Description

Seller's View -

"Moving into Beatty Rise four years ago was great for me, and my neighbours really have become my friends. Being a keen rambler, it’s fantastic having plenty of green space around and a lunch time walk when working from home has become my regular and really enjoyable routine. This area is great with a good school right around the corner and the bakers in the village is superb, not forgetting the post office, garage, Indian restaurant, hairdressers/barbers, nursery, pub and the vets to name a few of the local amenities. The regular 600 bus runs straight into Reading centre and this is a handy location for the M4 if you’re driving anywhere. The apartment has been good to me and truth be told I’m slightly sorry to leave it, but wedding bells are chiming and I’m moving out to live with my fiancée soon starting our lives together and creating fantastic new memories. I’ll have fond ones of living in Beatty Rise and am confident the next owner will find it just as good."

Agent View –

A great opportunity for first-time buyers! When I first walked into this apartment, I was really impressed by how the current owner have made the most of every room, adding some nice touches along the way.
Both double bedrooms feel bright and spacious, with plenty of natural light coming through. The main bedroom also comes with a built-in wardrobe, and there’s still room if you need extra storage. The bathroom itself is a really good size, which is always a bonus.

The open-plan living and dining space works really well, with Juliette balconies in the centre of the room looking out over open green fields. It brings in lots of light and gives the whole space a really open feel. Don't forget the communal gardens and outside store room too. Overall, it’s a property that ticks a lot of boxes and still offers plenty of potential to make it your own.

Area View –

Spencers Wood sits just south of the M4, offering a nice mix of countryside surroundings with great access to nearby amenities. There are plenty of green spaces close by, including Langley Mead, which stretches across 18 hectares along the River Loddon—perfect for walks and getting outdoors.
Dobbies Garden Centre is just a short walk away and also has a Sainsbury’s for everyday essentials. The 8 and 9 bus routes run right outside the property, making it easy to get into Reading in around 30 minutes.
