Alaior is one of the most quintessential of Menorcan towns, located in the Centre of Menorca, benefiting from an all year round community, medical centre, schools, sports complex and shops. Not far from the beaches of Son Bou and Calan Porter on the South Coast with their beautiful white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters in a picture postcard setting. The longest distance between two points is 47 kilometres, so hiring a car is a good way to explore the island. Mahon International airport is a short 5 kilometres from the capital Mahon.
