Description
Waverton remains one of Chester's most popular villages and Ringway is certainly one of the most popular neighbourhoods. There are many of the same style less the extension but number 84 is a winner with its setting. There are no overlooking properties immediately opposite, instead a pleasant cul de sac. There is also a good distance from the other properties at the back. Once inside there is everything to like.
The porch is naturally bright and this leads to a cosy front facing lounge where you can enjoy an outlook towards the aforementioned cul de sac. The lounge also benefits with a through the part glazed door reveal of the amazing family room - all the rage nowadays and we think it is fair to say this one could rival any.
The extension is single storey so this lovely room benefits from a pitched ceiling with Velux skylight windows. The kitchen is a two tone shaker style with quartz surfaces, upstands and an inset sink with mixer tap and etched drainer. The cooking station comprises of pan drawers, a 4 ring electric hob with quartz splash back and a steel and glass extractor. There is a "Zanussi" fan assisted oven and combination microwave oven. From the prep and washing area you will be able to enjoy a pleasing outlook over the garden and glazed French doors open onto the patio. The island has proved a fine addition in itself and facilitates a stylish breakfast/meeting bar for up to five or work area with overhanging pendant style lighting, storage and wine racks.
Finishing the downstairs is the convenient WC which comprises of a stylish high gloss vanity unit with basin and mixer tap. The window was installed at the same time in 2022.
Moving upstairs and you have 2 good sized double bedrooms and a third single bedroom/study. All offer pleasing outlooks with the master and the single looking to the cul de sac. The bathroom has been tiled to a nautical theme and includes an electric shower for immediate and independent hot water.
The garden at number 84 is one of the larger ones and could be described as the perfect size for modern day lifestyles where a good outdoor space is desired but with as little maintenance as possible. There is a good sized patio which extends to the side where there is space for further seating, storage and bins. Double timber doors open outwards for garage access. To the other side of the patio is lawn which runs with pathway to the far end where our sellers have enjoyed a second seating area with commanding views of the garden and house. The garden has been complimented with a thoughtful selection of mature plants, small trees and shrubs and there is a floor standing coach lamp effect light and two that are wall mounted.
The village lifestyle.
Waverton has long been a firm favourite with professionals and families for the schools, the proximity to the City, the amenities and the Countryside. The village offers a highly regarded Primary School, a Surgery, Pharmacy, a One Stop store that is open 6am to 10pm daily, a hairdressers and delicatessen. The village hall hosts a variety of activities including the monthly Saturday night cinema and it is where the Doctor's surgery is based. To the side is the playing field where the annual fete is held. There is a playing/football court, a children's play and obstacle park and a bike track.
The village now has an excellent barber and dog groomers. All of this including the canal and the village green at Eggbridge are between a minute to a 5 minute walk from home and the canal towpath is paved for easy walking / cycling into Chester. The location, the lifestyle and the property are perfect!
