The historic Nantes-Best canal is just a few minutes walk away. The tow-path is perfect for hiking and biking and a great way to explore the local area. On the hot summer days head for a dip and picnic at the idyllic Lac de Guerledan, which is about a 15min drive. 

The closest train station is at Carhaix, about 30mins and the ferry ports at Roscoff and St Malo are both about a 90min drive.
