"We have many happy memories of living here! We love sitting in the lounge as the sun shines through the stained glass windows and enjoy watching peaceful sunsets from the bedrooms. We often wander into Henleaze to grab a coffee, go to the gym or browse the shops. It is a wonderful community and we often bump into friends on the high street. The Downs are at the end of the road, where we love to go for a run. We are sad to leave, but hope the next owners enjoy it here as much as we have!"

The home

A stylishly finished and spacious first floor flat that retains so many of the intricate features associated with the Victorian era. The high ceilings and large bay windows result in huge amounts of natural light throughout. The kitchen is an exceptional space and the heartbeat of the property, perfect for hosting or enjoying time together. Both bedrooms are generously sized with a wonderful en-suite off the master as well as a beautiful rear facing bay window. The main bathroom has a full sized bath and is therefore perfect for little ones. Finally, the showpiece lounge has a beautiful south facing bay which bathes the room in the afternoon sun. A fab flat with a polished but homely vibe in a pretty and super convenient part of the City.

Living in Henleaze

Henleaze Road is made up of grand Victorian and Edwardian homes that lie to the south of Henleaze, just north of Westbury Park. With the road touching the edge of Clifton Downs, the area is hugely popular with runners, cyclists, as well as dog walkers with around 400 acres of space to utilise. Henleaze Road continues, turning into a High Street, with a diversity of pubs, cafes and shops. On the other side, on Northumbria Drive, there is Waitrose, the fantastic Westbury Park Pub and Kitchen, Scott Cinemas, The Little Shop & Pantry alongside another high street that again, leads up to the Clifton Downs. Both a short distance away, Gloucester Road and Whiteladies Road have a host of independent cafes, shops and restaurants, while the city centre is a little bit further still or a short cycle or bus ride in. For public transport, both Clifton Down and Redland Train Stations are nearby, offering easy links to Temple Mead Station and beyond.
