5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is brilliant, everything is so near by but there is rarely any noise you’d expect from living in the city centre. The bars and restaurants around are great and everything else you need is a quick walk away.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, any issues or questions I’ve had have been resolved within hours.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
There are so many different spaces it took me a little while to work out where everything is.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The area offers a good range of local shops, supermarkets, and takeaway options within easy walking distance, along with several restaurants and bars nearby. There are also parks and open spaces suitable for exercise and relaxation. Transport links are convenient, with regular bus services and nearby train or tram connections providing easy access to the city centre, although services can be busy during peak hours. Living on the street is generally pleasant, though as the property faces a busy road, there can be some traffic noise, particularly during peak periods. Residents are required to dispose of their own waste, with a bin system that uses three separate options for different types of rubbish, which is straightforward once familiar. Anti-social behaviour is minimal, and parking is available but can be limited at busier times
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management has generally been responsive and helpful when issues are raised, addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner. They communicate clearly and make reasonable efforts to resolve problems efficiently
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that the building is pet-friendly. It’s a lovely feature for residents with pets and creates a welcoming atmosphere. However, for those with allergies like myself, it’s helpful to be aware that there may occasionally be pet hair in shared areas. Overall, it’s just something to keep in mind so you can be better prepared and comfortable in the space

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
The local area is great as it provides a quick access to many restaurants and bars along with my other places and activities while giving a calm environment through the design of the building and the community, especially the onsite team.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
They have been very fast to resolve any issues and have always been very helpful and friendly. Edmer recently provided assistance with the fire testing and allowed for everything to be as fast and efficient as possible while also adapting to our schedule.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
The team go above and beyond to create a friendly community and environment that becomes authentic rather than just a marketing gimmick

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Kampus is an incredible location, so peaceful while still being city centre. The apartment designs in the warehouse are unique and beautiful. I’ve already made friends from their weekly events too! Has made moving to Manchester so seamless. Lily showed us around initially and was so friendly, she’s been involved in events and answered all my questions since moving in. She’s always so helpful.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Yes, I’ve logged 2 maintenance requests and there’s always someone in the day of to fix any issues. It’s amazing
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How good the events are! It fasttracks you to making friends and having a week full of plans while enjoying free perks for residents.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Love living in city centre, super convenient location to get into town for shopping, going out, etc.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
The building management team have been really helpful, especially Edmer and Margaux. We’re helpful with the move in and friendly each time I’ve bumped into the team.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I found it quite hard to get around when I first moved in as I was trying to get from my car parking space up to my flat and got lost a couple of times. It would have been great to have had a tour from the Community Host when I first arrived to show me how to get around, where the restaurants were, etc. Someone mentioned if I’d been given a map which I hadn’t, but any sort of map or brochure to explain the different restaurants, benefits to Kampus residents, or any more info would have been helpful.
