Since buying our house in Vauxhall Drive over 40 years ago we have so many happy memories of living and raising our family there. The house is light and airy with the benefit of a large south facing garden with a brick built workshop at the bottom. It was always in a perfect location for all our needs, excellent nurseries, primary school and secondary school for the children. The precinct is in walking distance with supermarkets, a wonderful library, cafés and coffee shops. Dinton Pastures and many local parks are on your doorstep as well for dog walking, exercise and general well being. The area has an excellent bus service into Reading town centre and also a service to The Royal Berkshire Hospital. Vauxhall Drive has easy access to the M4 and A4.

Our sellers have perfectly summed up why this house has been such an ideal family home for them for over 40 years. It really does have so much to offer with great room sizes both upstairs and downstairs. From the outside it can be deceiving but homes in this location and with this accommodation are very sought after and this is a great opportunity for someone looking to for something that can be made their own with the benefit of no chain.

This is such a fantastic location for anyone moving with a family and always has been popular with great schools, parks and woodland right on your doorstep. To the front you have an entrance hallway that gives you access into a spacious and bright living and dining area where you also have some storage space under the stairs. The kitchen to the back is separate and has plenty of cupboard space but gives a real opportunity to knock through to create the desired open plan kitchen. The conservatory is a great extra addition to the home as it benefits from the sunlight from the south facing garden.

Upstairs all of the bedrooms are a superb size and with two of them being comfortable sized doubles and having fitted wardrobes. As you can see the toilet and bathroom are separate but as many of the other houses on the road have done, you could knock through into one to create a larger bathroom.

Outside as we've mentioned the garden is south facing meaning plenty of sunlight throughout the day and is also very private. Not only this but you have a sizable brick built outbuilding at the back with power that could make an ideal workshop or work from home space. The garage is also deceptively large having been extended by our current sellers now meaning you can actually park a car in there if you wish. You have side access to the shared driveway, whist to the front you've got parking which could be made bigger to accommodate more vehicles.

You've also got Woodley Precinct not far away with a variety of supermarkets, retailers and some great places to eat and drink. Also within walking distance is of Woodley Church of England Primary and Rivermead school with a Tesco Express for those every day essentials too over towards the airfield. The home is ideally located for easy access to Wokingham and Reading with excellent commuter routes to London Paddington via mainline stations at Reading and Twyford, and the M4 Junction 10 via the A329M.
