An attractive raised plant bed supported by sleepers runs along the right border. The garden is surrounded by tall wooden fencing with a gated passage available at the far end to be able to remove garden waste through to Bytheway Walk.

From here they have the option of taking the staircase immediately ahead to move up to the first floor or utilising the door to the left to enter the lounge. The lounge is a generous reception room that has plenty of room for a sofa suite to be position around an entertainment unit. The suite includes an integrated electric oven along with a four-burner gas hob and overhead extractor fan, and a fridge freezer. A one-and-a-half-bowl sink with drainer is positioned in front of a window looking out to the garden, with an exit door to the right of the same wall.

TRANSPORT LINKS

Bytheway Walk leads from the traffic lights on the A5127, close to its junction with the A38(N). The A38 north leads directly to Burton on Trent and Derby. The A5127 leads Lichfield City Centre in the west, passing a roundabout at nearby Trent Valley.

From this roundabout is Cappers Lane which leads to the A38(S) (for Birmingham & Sutton Coldfield) as well as rural routes and the A51 to Tamworth. Also from the roundabout is Eastern Avenue, a bypass which navigates around half the circumference of Lichfield and therefore provides good access to the A51 north to Rugeley & Stafford.

There is a regular bus service to Lichfield City Centre Bus Station located on the Burton Road, which leads to Burton on Trent in the opposite direction. The bus station provides links to all of the above destinations as well as places beyond Lichfield to the west including Walsall, Brownhills, Burntwood & Cannock.

Perfect for longer distance commuters, the property is located within walking distance of Lichfield Trent Valley railway station. There are split level platforms as the station is part of both the West Coast Mainline and Cross City Line. This means there is access to major UK destinations such as London, Birmingham, Liverpool & Manchester to name a few, as well as destinations in the midlands including Sutton Coldfield, Redditch, Atherstone, Nuneaton & Rugby.

SCHOOLS & AMENITIES

With Lichfield being one of the smallest cities in the UK, the majority of homes are within walking distance to the centre, where there are plenty of famous and independent stores. The city is steeped in history including the cathedral, churches and the Birthplace of Dr Samuel Johnson, credited for compiling the English dictionary amongst other literary achievements.

In Streethay there is a Co-Op convenience store on a small complex alongside a Dominos, Fish & Chip Shop, Beauty Salon and the trendy Bod Café/Bar. Lichfield is well blessed with supermarkets with Waitrose, Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl and a large Co-Op all available in a short driving distance.

The Staffordshire Schools website doesn’t list any catchment schools so we highly recommend that parents research catchment with the local authority. The nearest primary school is walking distance away in Streethay. The secondary school likely to be King Edward VI School, as it is for nearby Burton Old Road.
