Ardfern is a turning on the left hand side approximately 15 miles north of Lochgilphead. Follow the road leading into Ardfern. The entrance to Widgeon Cottage is on the left hand side just after the boat yard but before The Galley of Lorne Inn.

Widgeon Cottage is situated in the mid Argyllshire village of Ardfern which is located on the pretty sheltered shores of Loch Craignish which is about 15 miles to the north of Lochgilphead and about 24 miles to the south of Oban.
