Description

THIS BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED TWO-BEDROOM SEMI-DETACHED HOME OFFERS THE PERFECT BLEND OF COMFORT, PRACTICALITY, AND CHARM. WITH ITS BRIGHT, FLOWING LIVING SPACES, STYLISH FINISHES, AND A STUNNING SUN-FILLED GARDEN, IT’S A HOME THAT’S READY TO BE ENJOYED FROM DAY ONE.

Our Agent Jodie says:

“Tucked away on a peaceful cul-de-sac, this two-bedroom semi-detached home has a calm, welcoming feel from the moment you arrive and is ready to move straight into.

As you step inside, you’re greeted by a really handy porch area, complete with a storage cupboard that’s perfect for keeping coats and shoes neatly tucked away. It’s a practical touch that immediately makes day-to-day living that bit easier. From here, you move into the main living room, which feels bright and inviting thanks to its neutral décor, fresh carpets, and stylish internal glass doors that subtly enhance the sense of space and light.

One of my favourite features is how the living room flows so naturally through double doors into the kitchen-dining area. It’s a layout that works incredibly well, whether you’re relaxing at home or entertaining. The kitchen itself offers plenty of worktop space, room for all your appliances, and ample space for a dining table, a really sociable and functional part of the home. From here, sliding doors lead into the conservatory, which I think is a fantastic addition. It’s a versatile space that can be enjoyed all year round, whether as a second sitting area, dining space, or simply somewhere to unwind overlooking the garden.

Upstairs, the sense of care and continuity continues, with neutral décor and fresh carpets running through both double bedrooms. They’re comfortable, well-proportioned rooms that feel ready to make your own. The main bathroom is modern and fresh, finished in a clean, contemporary style.

Outside is another real highlight for me. The garden has been beautifully maintained and enjoys plenty of sunlight, making it a real sun trap during the warmer months. With mature trees and established planting, it feels wonderfully private, and the patio area is perfect for outdoor furniture, ideal for relaxing or hosting friends and family.

To the side of the house, the carport provides useful additional storage, adding to the home’s practicality.

Overall, this is a lovely home in a great location, well cared for, thoughtfully laid out, and offering a wonderful balance of comfort and convenience”.

Our sellers thoughts:

“We hope you love the house as much so we do. It’s a perfect location if you want quick access via the rear path to the village to experience the award winning pub (The Dragon) and Aangans Nepalese restaurant. The rear access also gives you access to walks in to the nature reserve or for walking your dog, or a short pretty walk down the canal to Mercia Marina. The cul de sac is quiet and we have been lucky to have such good neighbours around us. We believe the house is a good size, with helpful parking and storage and we particularly love the garden and conservatory which was always our favourite room in the house. We have lived in the village for over 30 years and over recent years it has become a favoured location for having that village feel, but only 5 miles from the facilities in Derby and Burton. One of the best features is the local train station which we use often to access Manchester and Birmingham airports”.

The Area:

The village of Willington is beautiful and a fantastic village for a family. The local Willington Primary School feeds into John Port School in the neighbouring village of Etwall. There are local amenities in the centre of the village including a Co-op, Post Office, Doctors Surgery, Chip shop and several pubs on the canal. With several fields, it is a popular walkers village with easy access to the canal path, leading to Mercia Marina with independent shops, restaurants and cafes. For commuters, it’s a short drive to the A38 which leads to Derby City Centre, Royal Derby Hospital and the A50. The bus service which runs through the village goes to Derby City Centre as well as Burton Town Centre.
