Any person desiring to tender for the grass keep of the land described in the attached particulars shall complete and sign this Form of Tender and submit it either by email or to Greenslade Taylor Hunt, 1 High Street, Chard, Somerset, TA20 1QF by 12 noon on Tuesday 19th May 2026. Envelopes must be sealed and marked “Tender for Grass keep at Higher Laymore Farm”.

LOCATION
The land is located approximately 1.4 miles south of the village of Winsham with direct access to off the council-maintained road known as Causeway Lane. Please see the attached site plan and location plan, which identifies the land.

LETTING
The land is offered for grass keep for the 2026 season and is available for grazing and mowing purposes from 18th May 2026 to 31 October 2026. On acceptance of the Tender the Licensee will pay the licence Fee in full in accordance with the agreement.

GENERAL COMMENTS
In total the land extends to about 18.43 acres (7.46 Ha) and is all down to permanent pasture. The land is offered by informal tender, as a whole. The Licensee will be responsible for erecting temporary fencing if they wish to graze the land with livestock.

Any tenders received will be subject to contract, and the licensors are not obliged to accept the highest nor any other offer.

FERTILISER
The licensees may apply additional fertiliser as they deem necessary by agreement with the Licensor.

ENVIRONMENTAL SCHEMES
We understand the land is not subject to any Environmental Schemes.

HEDGES
The Licensor will be responsible for the cutting of all hedges.
