The hut is available on an annual licence from New Forest District Council (NFDC). The current licence fee is £933 inc. VAT per annum for NFDC residents. If you are not an NFDC resident the licence fee is £1,435 inc. VAT per annum. There is a transfer fee payable by the seller, currently £746 inc. VAT, payable to NFDC. The seller has just paid the yearly licence fee to NFDC, therefore, the new owner would not need to pay this until 2027.

RATES

The property is classed as a non-domestic property, but we understand that as the rateable value is below the threshold it is zero rated. However, we would ask all interested parties to check this information with NFDC. If you do not own another beach hut within NFDC, or run a business within NFDC, then we understand that the property would be zero rated.
