Description

(Guide Price | £375,000 - £400,000)

Top floor living with a bit of something extra…

This “penthouse” apartment really does have a lovely feel to it — bright, airy and ready for someone to move straight in and enjoy it to the maximum from day one.

What makes it stand out?

Well… not one, but two private outside spaces — both with completely different aspects and both making the most of those far-reaching views.

You’ve got a balcony off the bedroom looking out towards the city (perfect for a quiet coffee in the morning), and then a larger terrace off the open-plan kitchen/reception which is ideal for entertaining, relaxing… or just catching a bit of sunshine.

Inside, everything’s nicely put together. The kitchen is sleek, the breakfast bar is a great touch (somewhere to sit, eat, work or wind down without encroaching into your living space), and the whole apartment just feels easy to live in.

The bathroom’s smart, storage is good, and overall it’s one of those homes that just works.

And then there’s the development itself — gated, well kept, with a concierge, gym and communal gardens… plus a real sense of community, which always makes a difference.

I almost forgot to mention, there's a secure underground parking space included (a real bonus in this location).

Location-wise, you’re in a great spot here…

Streatham Hill station is just a few minutes stroll away, so getting into London Victoria is nice and straightforward. Or jump on a bus and you’re in Brixton in around 15 minutes if the tube is your preference.

Locally, there’s plenty going on…

Independent coffee shops, places to eat, and a special mention to Griffin Coffee House just by the station which is my personal fave!
Gail’s has also popped up nearby — which tells you everything about how much Streatham Hill is on the up (although judging by its popularity it's already arrived!)

And then there’s M&S Food, so close you could probably nip down in your pyjamas and back before anyone notices!

For outside green space, you’ve got Tooting Common about a 7-minute walk one way, and Streatham Common in the other direction — take your pick depending on the mood.

Plus, with Balham and Brixton close by, you’ll never be short of options when it comes to socialising, entertainment and so much more. I should point out that if you're into the latest films there is a fabulous Odeon Cinema some 10 minutes walk or so from the apartment.

A really well-balanced home — great space, great location, and ready to move straight into.

It's always best to put your house on the market before you find a property

The estate agent acts for the seller and is there to get the seller the best price possible

Understand the length of time it can take - 14 weeks from when you accept an offer, or have an offer accepted to move in! A long time!

It can get stressful, but speak to your agent and your solicitor and they will put you in the picture

Be nice to estate agents - we're pretty nice people, offer some great advice and will help to get you moved ;-)
