"When I was looking for a flat to call home back in 2019, I wanted to buy somewhere that ticked certain boxes – particularly storage and the location of the development. After viewing a few different options in the early days, I felt there was always a compromise on what I wanted.

That changed when I set foot inside this home in Dudley Court. I was immediately impressed by the large storage room off the hallway, the huge floor-to-ceiling window in the living room, and the fact it had a separate kitchen. After taking a walk around the communal gardens, it also felt private and secluded. Another box ticked!

The fact that it came with an allocated garage was a real bonus and has been very handy for storing my bike. I’ve genuinely loved living here. It is convenient for many reasons, but it is time to move on, and I hope someone else benefits from the same joy and peace it has brought to me."

"It’s quite rare to find a one-bedroom flat with such good storage options. I was surprised by the size of the storage room off the hallway – it was clearly well thought out when the development was built.

The fact that the current owner has loved living here gives real reassurance about its suitability for a first-time buyer. The well-maintained communal gardens and tree-lined Carlton Road give it a somewhat secluded feel, as well as a lovely outside space to relax in on a warm day. There are resident parking bays and, as the seller mentions, the added bonus of a garage.

I love how naturally bright the living room is, thanks to the large floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the gardens, with a south-east facing aspect. The bedroom is also a good size, with plenty of space for furniture. I also like that the kitchen is separate, while the neutral bathroom gives you the chance to add your own style and colours.

Location-wise, it is ideal. You’ve got an excellent range of shops just around the corner, while Firswood tram stop and popular green spaces such as Alexandra Park are within walking distance. There are also great bus links to the city centre and Chorlton.

This is a great option for a first-time buyer, or a landlord looking to add to their portfolio, as flats like this have traditionally let well. I recommend an early viewing to appreciate everything on offer."
