    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    We have quite a close-knit community, and the nearby open spaces are generally sufficient for daily walks and outdoor activities. Having a Co-op Food downstairs is very convenient for essentials, although it would be even better if there were a larger supermarket nearby to provide more shopping options. While the area is not far from the city centre, having additional retail choices locally would make everyday life easier. One issue is the bin storage arrangement and the outdoor bins in the garden area. Seagulls can sometimes create mess around the bins, which is difficult to fully control. The bin storage room itself also feels quite limited for the size of the community, so it can occasionally become overcrowded. However, this seems more related to space limitations than poor management. At times, walking home late at night can feel uncomfortable due to activity around a nearby homeless shelter. While I understand this is a sensitive social issue, it has occasionally affected my sense of safety and comfort in the area during darker evenings.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    The building management team has always been understanding and approachable whenever I raised any issues. They genuinely listened from the resident’s point of view and tried to understand each situation carefully. Their attitude felt less like dealing with staff and more like speaking with friendly people who truly wanted to help and support the community.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    One thing I wish I had known before moving in is that although the apartment looks quite spacious during viewings, the storage space can feel more limited once you fully settle in. You may need to think creatively about additional storage solutions and organisation. That said, it could also just be because I own too many things! Overall, it is still a very comfortable place to live.

    Tone of good aspects: Really close to Cardiff Centre, which means it’s convenient to go anywhere. Relative quiet the street with excellent sound insulation. Wonderful management team here to support all the time. There is nothing bad about this place, I mean nothing bad would make you think of moving.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    Kindness, Professional, and most importantly, always showing they are actually care.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    No thing that I can think of at this moment, after living in Platform Cardiff for 2 years.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    Platform_ Cardiff is in a fantastic area. It’s about a 10 minute walk into the centre of Cardiff, which means we’re absolutely spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants, bars and events. It’s also a short walk to Cardiff bay, which is always a lovely day out. Location wise, we’re a couple minutes walk from Cardiff train station and not much further to the Central bus station. Although very central and somewhat noisy, with the windows closed we rarely hear traffic except at peak hours, which is to be expected in a busy area that offers so much.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    The maintenance guy here is great, always really friendly and willing to help. External technicians are also contacted quickly by staff for more complex issues like washers meaning the whole process as a tenant is smooth and efficient.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Sometimes the bin rooms get very full due to the council refusing to take bags. This is due to tenants not following the local recycling rules. However the management team and staff really try their hardest to keep on top of this and keep the place clean.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The local area has a great range of shops, restaurants, bars and open spaces, with excellent transport links nearby. The street can become quite busy on Saturday nights or when events are taking place at Depot, but we personally enjoy the atmosphere and the events never disturb us. The only minor issue is that some residents occasionally neglect the bin room rules, although this is not the fault of the management team. Overall, it’s a vibrant, convenient and enjoyable place to live.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    They were always very quick to respond, extremely helpful and very friendly.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    Honestly what a friendly and pleasant place to live it is.

    Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:

    The building is located very close to the city centre so it's very easy to get to anything you need. Lots of shops, restaurants, etc around, with access to city transport within a short walking distance. Parking availability can be limited however.

    How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:

    I haven't had many problems living here, but the staff are always helpful answering any questions I have.

    Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:

    I wish I had known a little more about the parking availability, but otherwise everything was explained to me.
