5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Great location with excellent transport links, cafés, bars and green spaces nearby. The area feels lively, always safe and well maintained.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Building management has been responsive, professional and quick to resolve issues raised by residents.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
I wish I had known how convenient and walkable the area would feel day to day. Everything from cafés and restaurants to transport links and green spaces is close by, and the building has a much stronger community atmosphere than expected from a city-centre development.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Ancoats is a great place to live I am really enjoy city-centre living with plenty of independent cafes, restaurants and bars nearby. Cutting Room Square and the marina area have a really good atmosphere, especially in summer, and there are lots of quality food spots, bakeries and coffee shops within walking distance. The area has improved massively over the last few years and feels modern while still keeping some character from the old mill buildings. There are also some nice open spaces like Ancoats Green and canalside walks, although more green space would definitely improve the area. Transport links are one of the biggest positives — it’s easy to walk into the Northern Quarter or Piccadilly, and there are good tram, bus and train connections nearby. However, traffic around Great Ancoats Street can get very busy and noisy during peak times. Parking can also be difficult and expensive, especially for visitors. On residential streets, bins are generally collected regularly, but some apartment areas can get messy if bins overflow. Like most city-centre areas there can occasionally be anti-social behaviour, noise late at night and some petty crime, but overall it feels much safer and more pleasant than it used t
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
I haven’t experienced any major problems while living here, but whenever I’ve had questions or needed assistance, the building management team has been very helpful, friendly and responsive. They communicate well, deal with requests professionally and help make the building feel very well managed overall.
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
One thing worth knowing before moving into The Casting is that parking in the area can be more limited and expensive than you might expect, especially for guests or if you own more than one car. On the positive side, the location is so walkable that you often don’t need to drive much at all. I’d also recommend making the most of the canalside walks and independent local businesses nearby — they really add to the quality of living here and give the area a unique atmosphere compared with other parts of Manchester.

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
very good location - close to big and small shops, takeways, town everything. only downside is sometimes a loud outside through the windows like trains but this isn't very often and not enough to make the good seem bad
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
always prompt and nice about and issues you need fixing
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
how many events that would be on every week or so like yoga, sound bath, ice bath, crafts etc lots of things to get involved in and helps you get to know your neighbours which can otherwise be difficult to do

5Please tell us about the good and bad aspects of living in your local area:
Very near to loads of shops, restaurants, bars, good places to walk dogs. Beautiful built up area, very short walk to picadilly, station the city centre and university of Manchester. Also very good transport link.
How has the building management responded to any problems or issues you have raised:
Very prompt, resolved any issues pretty much immediately. Haven’t really had any problems though
Please share one thing (or more) which you wish you had known before you moved in:
How much bills were going to be as I wasn’t sure and then found it a bit tricky to balance with rent too
