Last year most property sales in Buckinghamshire involved detached properties which sold for on average £774,103. Semi-detached properties sold for an average price of £441,353, while terraced properties fetched £352,634.

Buckinghamshire, with an overall average price of £496,225, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Berkshire (£478,728), but was more expensive than Oxfordshire (£466,805) and cheaper than Surrey (£616,701). The priciest area within Buckinghamshire was Chalfont St. Giles (£1,164,306) and the least expensive was Walnut Tree (£232,979).

During the last year, sold prices in Buckinghamshire were similar to the previous year and 3% up on 2021 when the average house price was £480,269.
