Providing an alternative route into Manchester, the A580 (East Lancs Road) can also be reached in around three miles.

Liverpool city centre can be reached in just 7.8 miles (via the A5049), while Manchester and Preston can be reached in 29 miles, and 34.3 miles respectively.

Huyton train station is less than two miles from the development and benefits from a 24-hour car park with 20 free spaces and limited secure cycle parking. From here, there are regular services to Liverpool Lime Street, Wigan North Western, Manchester Piccadilly, Warrington Bank Quay and Blackpool North.
